Note that as of June 11, 2018, only the room owner's friends can be made into room moderators. This means that if you unfriend this person, he/she will be removed as a moderator of your room. Also, if you assign a room moderator who is not your friend, they will not be able to moderate the room. This new change is effective on all platforms that have room moderation.

Thank you for this info. Xhynrae, i know one of my rooms was in featured and you can not edit it to change and delete mods, but this way if you unfriend them at least that should delete their mod status in the room too, without the room getting deleted out of featured rooms.

Oddly, Ive made added/removed to moderators of my featured rooms and have not gotten removed from the featured listing. The warning does come up but that's it.

I honestly feel like the moderator controls should have some more features for all users to be able to use (with the permissions to use them obviously).

What I mean by this is, I would really love IMVU to bring in some chat commands for room owners/room moderators to use such as /kick /ban etc. Maybe a /mod and /unmod command or even a /mute and /unmute command in the chat?

In fact, I don't really like the fact that the room owner has to block someone completely on IMVU just to ban them from their rooms. It just feels kinda odd to do that.

Then again, I put my views in probably due to my experiences outside of IMVU such as being a Twitch chat moderator for some select streamers and Twitch's chat command systems for moderators on there.

They start with *, followed by an action, followed by the user's cid

No way! I didn't even know that. IMVU must have added that when I was on a hiatus from the site for about 4 or 5 years. lol

The commands have always been there. IMVU has simply never made them public ... and those of us who know about the commands have never found them useful, so no one brags about them. It is easier to simply click the buttons than it is for us to collect the target's CID and build the commands.

Don can you tell me some of those commands and what do they do? and i honestly do believe some more options like mute and ban should be given to the mods aswell removing the feature where the room owners have to block someone to ban them from their room, it should be more defined, like ban options for each public room without having to block someone.
