1) My account Tate was banned for "We have evidence that you recently solicited for sex with a minor while participating within the community. According to our Terms of Service exploiting children or minors is strictly prohibited. "
1. I never asked a minor directly for sex.
2. I did not participate in any sexual activity with a minor OR the minor in question
3. I tell the minor in question I will wait until they are 18 right after I tell them I would let them dom me, which is the statement IMVU is using as the right to ban me.
How is that incriminating if I say I will wait UNTIL THEY ARE AN ADULT? An adult is NOT a minor.
How is it asking them for sex if I all I said is I would let them dom me? Domming doesn't HAVE to be sexual?
The have shown me no evidence or access to the chat log to help me prove my innocence.
Clearly IMVU has nonchalant dumbasses working for them.
I have made 2 cases so far and called them twice.
The first agent I spoke to on the phone supposedly escalated my case to the department that handles these cases, with a note attached to it to re-investigate. This didn't happen at all since I got the same reply from IMVU I always get. He obviously did nothing and just let IMVU customer support reply to it (the norm):
"There is no appeal to this decision."
I have been permanently disabled on that same account once before - my account's age was 17 when I was 13. I stated that I couldn't wait until my account turned 18 to buy AP after stating I was only 13. I was reported and then permanently banned. I knew that was wrong and fought for several days to get an agent who would actually try to help me. They realized I was wrongfully banned as I was still on the teen side of IMVU, simply changed my age, and I was given back my account.
TL;DR - Anything can be appealed.
The second agent I spoke to repeatedly put the phone away from her ear to not hear me speak and told me to resubmit a case.
So I did and I got it escalated again, but I have my doubts it will reach the team that reviews flag reports.
It's funny how IMVU will readily ban loyal customers (I had that account for 6 years with thousands of dollars put into it) but will do NOTHING about crash coders or individuals who severely harass others.
2) It affects me because it's a huge loss of money.
3) The problem is coming from IMVU staff.
Is there any advice you can give me? Thank you.
