Hello every one. I have made several trigger songs from IMVU's music store and put them in my catalog. I have one that does not play, sounds like it played it all at once. Contacted IMVU help and they came back and said that I have several songs that need the DCMA proof? Was told a very long time ago, that if the songs are in IMVU's music store, we could them in out products. also was told if we had to edit a product, we would not be charged for submitting it again. I don't think this is true either. I can put the link to my catalog and or the item that does not work if needed. Any ideas on these things? Thank you in advance.

No, I did not sing it. It is an original recorded song, you can also find it in IMVU's catalog.

Watch this:

Then register your music with the copyright office.

After that, you should be able to send IMVU's DMCA office proof of ownership / proof that you hold the copyright to your own original music which you have created.

I read somewhere that if it was in IMVU's music store that you could it for your own products.

The music is from different original artists, I break it down into 20 second segments and submit it to IMVU, your saying that everyone that makes a trigger song has to go through this?

I think you are misunderstanding him. He isn't using the music button on IMVU, although he is saying that this music is there to be sold on the music section.

He is trying to create a trigger product that plays 20s each of said song, and he is saying that this specific song isn't playing when he triggers it, I guess.

Neither he remixed or created the song from the ground up, as far as I can understand.

I would say that maybe IMVU's CS review got him for probably not owning the rights to put the product up in the catalog, but since IMVU won't do anything without a proper DMCA takedown... I don't really know what to say. But it sounds like he is trying to create a trigger product that plays parts of this music he spoke of. Would help if he could specify it correctly.

Also, something out of topic, why are all profile pictures so small all of the sudden?
