@Don Von Alpha Dom

Thanks for the insight on that matter, pretty techinical. I do hope that this happens too then, older rooms are better on our memory anyway. From three to three years people just change their favorite rooms as far as I can see. But some stay golden, I guess.

I have have been an IMVU user since the dawn of big ass bobble heads and only a few rooms. Have had accounts taken and disabled for no good reason. People come and go you lose contact with most. Some just leave the game and never sign in again.I agree with some of you guys that say they need to add something more to spice things up a bit. They also need to leave us AP users alone and let us have our damn fun lol

i reckon if imvu embraced the black market and let us be ''adults'' it would be kinda more fun, plus if imvu and the black market joined forces imvu would make loadsa money from horny mofo's and thats kinda all they care about, but it'll never happen and we're all doomed

IMVU can't. PayPal would drop them due to world wide marketing issues, quickly followed by various conservative countries, and credit card companies ran by religious fanatics. ... followed by a PR nightmare and all stores refusing to sell their gift cards. IMVU allowed black market products from 2004 - July of 2007 ... and it ended horribly for them. Most payment processors do not want to deal with adult content because it is considered high risk (normally in commerce 1% of sales back-charge, but in commerce involving adult content ... 3% - 4% normally back-charge). Add human interaction to the mix and a site that allows minors ... you start getting into legal issues and countries start banning you. No toy store would ever sale their gift cards ever again ... and gift card sales in toy stores is a huge percentage of IMVU's profit margins.

We need to start getting together on IMVU and make things happen again. Sounds like a good reason to finish our events system.
