how do I put Sparkles underneath Lanterns and Candles HELP

I've never done this before when created I want to use this mesh that is Lanterns and candles but I would like to have Sparkles coming from underneath the mesh,like said this is my first time doing something like this, if anyone knows how to this it be greatly thankful for there help
