Hi,for the past month i've experienced connection problems with the IMVU classic client,I'd like to ask for help here due to IMVU help tickets being an absolute garbage and still they dont give me a single solution
My issue is:
i keep getting disconnected from rooms at random times after joining ( it can take up to 5 minutes or 2 hours) but mostly it's after 5 minutes which is very annoying, when i lose connection i also can't load the room list, shop or avatar profile cards. This issue only happens with the IMVU classic client for pc my current version 538.0. The weird part is IMVU desktop beta 6.6.0 works fine so it's not an issue with my internet but IMVU desktop is really laggy, i'd prefer to use IMVU classic.

I tried doing the most basic solutions deleting the cache, reinstalling multiple times and i tried using IMVU Lite, nothing fixes the issue and IMVU help tickets don't help me at all, really all they do is repeating themselves with the same two default answers "check your wifi" or "delete your cache".

Does anyone knows what i could do to find the root of this problem? i checked the log files to look for errors but i don't understand anything, i really need some help. Thanks

PM me your log file when you disconnect, I'll take a look.

Do you get disconnected when doing anything else or is it just when you're in a room?

Well when i lose connection with the rooms i also experience issues with imvu in general for example i can lose connection if i am using the Chat now or the shop and i'm not in a room. so i think it's some sort of network issue with the IMVU classic client. To be more specific, there are a couple of errors that i have, which are:

The first and main issue i mentioned before. i can login normally to my account, browse the chatrooms list and join, but after around 5 minutes or 2 hours i get disconnected, all the rooms i'm in close and i get this error message (IMVU doesn't close btw it just sends me back to the home window):

Other issues that happen are:
I can't load the chatroom list it can take up to 10 minutes to get back to normal and it looks like this

Sometimes, i'm able to load the chatroom list but i can't load the Room Cards and if i try to join i will get the disconnection message, Another screenshot:

And sometimes if i'm able to load the chatroom list and the Room Cards i can join the room but the people in it won't load (the room looks like if it was empty) and after 5 minutes i get the disconnection error message

The shop also won't load:

This errors of not being able to load chatrooms list, the room card, etc, happen independently if i'm in a room or not but if i happen to be in a room when i'm experiencing this issues i'd most likely lose connection with the room too.

I sent you a PM with the logs

When you get disconnected are you still able to access the IMVU website? Does the client start working again if restarted?

Yes the IMVU website works i can even chat through it,also IMVU desktop and mobile work too and no the IMVU client won't work if i restart, all i can do about it is waiting for the connetion to stabilize

Yes i've tried IMVU lite but sadly it won't fix the issue

@Xhynrae

Are you experiencing the same problem too? I'm 100% sure in my case it's something with the IMVU classic client, i've been connected with IMVU desktop for hours and i rarely lose connection but it's still in beta and laggy

I only use a program called Exitlag to lower my ping, but i don't think that's the reason, i lose connection with imvu even when i have exitlag closed
