What client are you trying to modify ? And, why the background color ? Maybe someone could help with that, but more details are needed about what you actually want to achieve.

Nah, they are talking about modifying their IMVU client.

To do what you want would require modifying core files. Unfortunately, we don't allow public discussion of client hacking here due to the damage that knowledge could cause. You may simply want to style your client but teaching you where and how to modify the code would give others the knowledge they need to release clients that can steal passwords, spread malware, spy on people, etc..
