So a while back like 6 months ago I was on the mobile client but I joined the same room on the pc client so I could talk to people if I wasn't at my computer but I left on the pc client and it thought I left on the mobile client to but I was still in the chat and I could watch the people talk and basically spy on them but when I try it now it kicks me off the mobile client , does anyone know of this?

Which PC client were you using? (Next, Beta, or Classic; or something custom like a mafia client?)

I have seen this happen before. Pretty dangerous if you ask me.

When I saw it happen, the person was using its main account, was on the usual IMVU client on a room, and did the same as op said. Didn't log out of the room in the client, instead logging in to the room through the mobile app, and no one else saw the person there, but she could read the chat just fine. Couldn't speak though.

I mean ... it is not hard to trick the client into displaying a entered / leave message for any user in the room. You can do that without actually leaving. I use to do it all the time with chat codes. Your name still shows up in the users in chat list after triggering the message, so ... you just have to hope no one reads the list.

You mean typing left the chat with a Ubiytsa at the start? Yeah, but this "bug" the op said, I have seen it, the person is completely gone from the chat, no avatar, no name in the room or in the room card at all. But the person is there, and can read everything.

I've seen a similar bug where the user was not listed, but it involved getting kicked / banned from the room. I could still load the room and see the chat, but I did not show up in the users list, nor could I reply to chat.

maybe its a glitch it happens unexpectedly, sometimes i enter a public room and i'm able to unlock the room furniture and move it around by using the tools which shows on the screen giving me access to do so like im the owner, but if i move the furniture which i have done so to take pictures, the others in the room dont see the furniture has moved i can use all the tools and it only shows on my screen, and if i leave the room and re-enter it, all the furniture is put back and locked in its place as the owner had set it, this glitch occures randomly and its fun to take pictures, you can also move dots ppl are using and move them around the room. i wish there was a programme to give permission to do this all the time to any room of our choice without disturbing the furniture of the owner so we can have fun.

I have seen that happen too, but again, not with me. The person proved it to me though.

I had don’t the same thing as well but I think it depends on how you join. I think if you join phone first or if you join pc first because I did this a while back too.
