Very informational & inspires me to engage into illegal activates just so im able to go though all the steps & hide my ass haha
For PayPal I have heard people using remote computers to be able to conduct business transactions from countries where paypal is still unavailable which again could be risky if you have some kind of established online business & you are always at risk of whoever has access to that remote computer. Reconfiguring the IP to have the same location every time can be more secure instead of just relying on a VPN especially when you use the free ones.

I've also heard of people who use a single static VPN IP for PayPal. Those people will often use geolocation to find the location of the machine their VPN is routing through. Then they will find the nearest commercial building, and set that building's address to the main address of their PayPal account, so that their address matches the IP PayPal has on file for them.
