No Sound on imvu

i am trying to help a friend who has no sound on imvu, what can possibly cause no sound, the sound is set in settings and imvu has been re-installed but still no sound, other than that the sound works on youtube, any suggestions what could possibly cause this to happen.

Hello, on windows, check the volume mixer by application, in the system tray, click on the volume icon then "open volume mixer", ensure that imvu soundbar is not muted

Hi VilaTronic, If their sound is working on the net other places just not IMVU, then its just IMVU acting up and it will be back up and running again when they are done with what ever IMVU is doing with there upgrades or mess up codes that just needs to get twerked back into shape again. Tell them to sit tight and if any thing just clean out their IMVU cache folder and reboot there pc and just wait on IMVU to fix what ever is going on. Again its not His/Her PC. If they want music tell them to log on to youtube while still on IMVU or another web radio. Product sounds will have to wait for a bit till IMVU is up and running again with sound. Hope this helps.
