I'm from Canada and once covid dies down and boarders open up again, my family will start travelling again. usually it's USA, Asia or UK/Europe. i have 2FA on but im still worried that imvu may disable my account cuz of different log ins since my account is registered in Canada. one of my friends has had their account disabled cuz they made their account in a different country and when they try to log in back in their home country it got disabled for a while. i dont want that to happen to me so i just wanna make sure that i'm still able to log in without any issues when travelling again.
i did get one answer which was "to advised to let customer service know if you will be traveling. Include where, how long etc. IMVU does place accounts on hold as a security measure." but i feel that would get very exhausting to contact them every time i'll be out of town :/
just add in something here that i forgot to add in earlier is that one of the another user asked if they can still log into imvu they're from Malaysia and going to Japan...one person answered saying that "You should be able to login from any country (friendly with the USA) while traveling. If you are concerned about the different logins being detected by IMVU I would start a Help Case Ticket and discuss it with IMVU Staff before you travel. This may be a good idea, to let IMVU know before hand. There are anti-account-theft detection systems in affect that may trigger while traveling abroad. As far as not being able to login or login speed this would be up to the remote Internet Provider, Firewall, etc. at the location you are trying to use to connect. If you have issues getting Internet or Logging in, discuss it with the local provider while abroad."
please note that i will only be on the mobile app not on pc. so far i've travelled to 2 places but they're not outside of my country so im not sure if i had to be outside of my country in order for imvu to detect the different log in...only had one friend telling me they had no issues with logging into the app when he travelled to Greece.
