I really wanna download IMVULite for the camera widget but I had a friend who used a different client (not this one) and got banned. Has anyone gotten banned for using IMVULite or should I be ok?

No one has been banned for using this version of IMVU Lite. We do our best to remove all of the tracking from the client, to prevent IMVU staff from detecting it as a third party modified client. But yes, using third party clients can be risky if you get caught.

I mean ... IMVU staff could find a way to track it that we did not think of. That seems to happen about once every few years. We try to send out an update as quickly as possible when that does happen.
