This happened to me few weeks ago, it costs me two of my major shop account, IMVU accused me of impersonating IMVU staff which I didn't do. I tried making a new account to contact IMVU staff and IMVU ban me right over after I make a new account. After trying out a few things including reinstalling the PC (still gets banned), found this:
1. I can create a new account with a different browser such as Chrome and Brave without getting banned, the account is still safe
2. Use a VPN with the said browser (chrome and brave)
Since I'm still under a 2 year contract, I can't switch to another internet provider so I uninstalled my old browser just to keep things safe from old habit and always make sure my VPN connects before getting on IMVU
