I advice changing the password asap, as long as those huge password lists exist with leaked data from internet giants that were compromised in the past, that is the first step to making it at least difficult for the accounts to be h4c|<7d.
imvu support should just automate/template part of the important issues of this nature like account recovery to a secure form to minimise human interraction and communication back and forth, like limiting the submission of this types of tickets only after the sensitive information has been added by the customer, so they only need to take care of the decision making, and actual measures to fix the issue, not waste time and resources on typing messages, and that would speed things up a lot.
