Hello, I lost my original IMVU account from 2009-2010 and ended up having to make a new one 9 years ago (2013?) and I was wondering if anyone on here could possibly help me get it back. I don't mind losing access to this account, the only reason I wanted it back was for the reputation of being such an old and nostalgic account (besides the outfits and old friends/rooms and the fact that it was a creator account)
The email I used for it got h4c|<7d into so I lost my ability to reset the password, and I forgot the password I originally used. (It was the username of an old friend.)
If anyone on here could possibly help me recover it, I would be willing to pay credits to have it back :( I miss my OG account. (I wont post the name here as I believe that is against the mafia rules, but PM me if you can help and I'd be more than willing to provide the information I have on the account.)
Thank you!

@ReaperwantstoplayDo you still have proof of payment from stuff you bought on the account back then?

I believe any proof for payment I had would have been connected to the email associated with the account... I did purchase vip status from my mom's old credit card and credits for it through the prepaid cards you can buy in-store. Other than that, I don't believe so. Her old card has long been deactivated and I've definitely trashed the old prepaids. I've tried to contact IMVU support about the matter but there wasn't much they could do. I know the general ballpark of what the old password possibly was but the only other method of recovery was via the old yahoo email I used

To recover old accounts without the email address, they normally want the credit card numbers used to remove guest, buy VIP, buy AP .... etc. They don't normally ask for the one you used to buy credits. They typically ask for your old address / general location at the time you registered the account. (country, state, city) They compare that location to the IP address that registered the account. Then they ask for the account's birthdate. Then they ask for your first and last name (which has to match the first and last name on the account).
