The program seems to be working great, but I have a question. Its mentioned that we can search for "hidden" items, but I'm not sure how to do that. I'm assuming its by selecting product type, but that area is greyed out for me. I figured maybe I'd need to log in to use that feature, but as stated multiple times, that feature isn't working at the moment due to some update. So I was wondering if I'm doing something wrong or if I have to wait for an update. Thank you for your time

I was messing around with it and decided to clear my cache and relaunch the program. I ran a search before launching vu and after launching it without joining a room, but I was getting the same set of PIDS of 2192 PIDS. When I joined a room, the same 2192 + a few extra hundred were added. Is there a way to filter out the repeats and just focus on the new ones?

Messed around some more. I was using one of those clients that let you have anything you want. I just uninstalled and reinstalled it and the PID cache was reset. I think because I'm using that specific client, the ID's weren't resetting. I'll keep this post up in case anyone who ran into the same troubles as me can learn from my mistakes

I"m creator of the Cache2PID program. The login functionality currently doesn't work and need rewritten to connect to IMVU servers again.

Uninstalling the client doesn't reset your cache. You need to either use the clear cache setting in the client or manually clear it by deleting

We have not done any publicly available development for the newer client.

I find that clearing the client manually is quicker and more efficient than with the client cleaner.

Nope, development is still in alpha / unit testing for the new client. We probably won't release anything for the new client till classic retires. Otherwise, we'll have to maintain 2 versions of every program.

Is there a projected date for them to retire classic client?

The last official statement they made, was that the classic client would remain available as long as the newest version of windows supports 32 bit software.
