I've recently started a blog and Instagram page about issues on IMVU. It's called Truthseekers. Now, I know reporting or speaking up on IMVU issues may result in my blog being taken down or my IMVU account being banned. Maybe not.

Anyway, I have been thinking of getting my views and reads up by putting the blog out there. But I don't know how.
How do I best advertise a blog that talks about drama (mainly problematic people), IMVU issues, etc. On IMVU? Do I make a group on IMVU? Or do I make other social media accounts?

Any ideas? Please do share them!

* Google Analytics - install google analytics on your blog, so you can track statistics and progress

* Google Trends - find a phrase via google trends, related to IMVU, that has been trending well for the past year or so. Then hijack the phrase by making it the very first text at the top of your blog.

Steps:
1) go to google https://www.google.com/
2) Type "IMVU" into the search
3) type space
4) type a single letter and read through the auto-complete selection
5) delete that letter and type a different letter, read through the new auto-complete selection
6) repeat till you see a phrase that could represent your blog
7) type the word into google trends, to see how many people have been search it for the past year
8) google the phrase to see who is currently using it; who your competition will be for the phrase
9) if you are happy with what you see and feel good about it, then edit your blog to make the phrase the very first text at the top of blog, maybe add it to the title, or add it to the URL if you want; this will help you capture google searches for that phrase and funnel the traffic into your site

* Search Engine Optimization - google SEO; there are HTML tags you can add to your blog and ways you can organize your content that make google like you better

* Google Bomb Backlinks -

steps:
1) think of other search phrases you wish to capture
2) google one of those phrases and the word "forum" - this will give you a list of forums talking about that phrase
3) register an account on those forums, and actively participate on the forums just like any other normal user
4) after a week or two of legit activity, sneak in a mention of your blog / a link to it

* Social Media - make a list of all the top social media websites; create an account named after you blog on each site, and post regular updates about your blog, such as whenever a new article comes out

* Paid Advertising - you can pay facebook ads and google ads to advertise your blog for you; expect low return, maybe an increase of 5% traffic over the year if you spend $50 per month ... funny ads tend to do better, specially if one goes viral
