This may or may not fit here... But I've been noticing that lately, even though I have everything about my profile set to private, you can't search for me via email, or any of that fun stuff...
I'm still finding that people I've never seen before are popping up on my friends list... It's getting annoying.
A few seem to want friends, or sneaky links.
Then there are others who will instantly invite me to events, or private rooms... And the invites don't stop coming in. Yesterday, I blocked one person 18 times. (No I'm not exaggerating, unfortunately.) And I did NOT unblock them even once. During the course of the day, I got 52 invites to live events and private rooms by this person.
I honestly don't know if this is what bots are becoming, or if the people who pull this off just have too much time on their hands... But I don't like it. Not one bit.
And it's far from an isolated issue. I regularly end up with new accounts on my friends list. That I can't explain. I'm NOT a social person on IMVU. I'm there to create a movie for myself... I don't really want to be hounded by these people... Who friend themselves, and/or unblock themselves....
If someone knows how I can keep it from continuing... Please share!

is working on an inbox filter to help combat this, along with spam from IMVU staff.

My plan for the inbox filter is to just simply block messages from some of the imvu staff like IMVU Offers, IMVU NFT, etc..
I'll probably leave the VIP and IMVU Inc accounts alone since they also send useful information.
It might get more advanced than that in the future as the h4c|< developers but for now, it's just a small simple filter.

A thought for the future. . . Possibly have a toggle feature for all of the Vu accounts, including vip and IMVU inc?

Eventually maybe I can add some sort of custom filter users can put people's name on. For right now though, it's just gonna be a simple filter. I haven't gotten around to starting this project so I'm not entirely sure if this is even possible yet. One step at a time.
