Let's start by answering the troubleshooting questions:
1) Are you the original owner of the account?
2) Do you still have access to the email account it is registered to?
3) Did you ever purchase anything on the account with real money?
4) Have you filed an IMVU help ticket?

I recently recovered one of my accounts that got h4c|<7d a few months back. I only realized 2-3 weeks ago that the password was not working and thought maybe I forgot the password. when I tried to recover it, non of my emails worked and I figured maybe it got banned. I noticed it on my other account's friends list so I decided to go to the help section on the IMVU website but it kept giving me an error along with a phone number to call imvu on. it's a toll-free number that you can call with skype for free if you do not live in the US. I explained the situation to them. they asked for my name and date of birth also the date on which I created the account. the email address which I last used. also asked for card details for the last card I used I think but I informed them that was like 10-20 cards ago as the last purchase I made was buying ap which was many years ago and that I no longer banked with them. they also asked if I had made the account in the US and asked me to confirm in which state. I informed them I made it in London as this is where I live. he was pretty sure it was made in the US. I realized at this point that a friend had given me that account lol so I said maybe I had my VPN on but I do not remember as it was over 10 years ago. they accepted all of this. The person reset the email to my previous one and emailed me a temporary password.

the toll-free number to call IMVU on is +18667610975

That is about all I remember about it.
