yeah, they are talking about a subscription model for NUDE.

i think meredian is still free, tho.

it took a while to get it installed (big download file), but i was able to run it without much difficulty.

i have a friend on vu who also plays 3DXChat he wanted me to join cuz he played it and plus apparently u can get married on it o-o but yeah...bad thing is that u have to pay for membership just to join :/ but he told me that he can do email referral for people to join without having to pay for a bit...but either way i think u would have to pay at some point...

im playing the free version right now medredian 3dxchat i will stay with that one i may not get nude.

Since my last post i did not have tested again meredian but heard also about NUDE.

i know that meredian's development has always been complicated, despite the fact that those different 3DX projects have found ways of adding new update from official version. Most competitor born from problems in the meredian team, however, meredian stay the most played 3dx copy i think.

Dev involved on those 3dx emulator are still very bad when we see what they add, except some clothes that some friend have show me. these is clearly no real experienced guy in reverse engineering nor in 3D animation. those emulator remain a lot of workaround than a nice work.

the big prob remain the fact they all "open to everyone". lot of underage.. some easy to spot, others not. 3DX will stay the best deal imo.

what your friend say are true, there is a refferal 2.0 system. to explain it simply, everytime someone sub to 3DX with your referral link you get +1 month of free subscription. for exemple, if you make 60 person to sub with your link, even if they only sub 1 month, you get 60 free month ! ( 5 years without paying to be on 3DX ). with all the people tired of imvu and what they do with the new client, It's quite easy to get people to sign up on 3DX if you're a good saleswoman / salesman.

i think meredian is pretty similar(?) to 3dxchat and it's totally free.

the graphics for rendering environments are pretty impressive and handle light and shadows really well.

avatars are very basic and there don't seem to be many clothes, but the sex poses are built in. there's no 'authority' like with vu trying to police adult stuff.

they have a discord channel. you gotta get white-listed, but it's not complicated. when i asked a question there recently, ppl answered right away.

i still prefer vu, i would say check out meredian just to see what it's like !
