Did you incorrectly guess your password too many times in a row? If so, they lock your account for an hour. Either wait the hour or reset your password to remove the lock.
It is also possible for someone else to DDOS your account by spamming the login form with failed login attempts to your account. If this is happening and they won't stop, the only solution is an IMVU help ticket.
