So I've been an imvu player for years and years, but solely on mobile. How much does pc differ from the mobile app, in your opinion which is better mobile or pc? I've tried pc but my laptop is so slow when trying to run vu on pc. Can any1 recommend a good console or laptop or even a tablet that wouldn't be laggy or slow when trying to run imvu clients because that's where I get frustrated, everything moves so slow on my pc. Do I go back to mobile

Personally I MUCH prefer PC over Mobile. Mobile does not allow for alot of features and ease. I prefer using IMVU Lite (offered under services) than the actual client though.

If imvu were to completely disable pc use, I would sell my 16 year old, grandfathered Dev account.

in my opinion PC is better cause you have a lot more you can do. You can be in many rooms as you want vs mobile you gotta stay in one room which can get boring at times having to keep searchin for rooms. You get to shop together with friends, your girl/man multiple people etc.

Most people prefer gaming pc works best for imvu client, I have an HP and it works fine, sometimes if it runs slow got to clean the cache of the client. I recommend a gaming pc or laptop or just one with more space and ram to run your client so it wont slow up and also good antivirus and maleware to download too.

I have done mobile for the last 4year and just changed over to pc this year and I think pc much better Onces u get use to the moving it mostly the same, but you have more triggers choose then u do on mobile, and you can't see what the dots is before u land on it like you do on mobile and pc is a bigger screen.

honestly pc is superior...easier to use and manage... u can be in multiple rooms at once...oh and item thumbnails in shop!

PC client is vastly superior, just make sure you're using the "IMVU Classic" client, not the Beta.

Better graphics, vastly better interface, more features that mobile doesn't have and a whole host of things that will appear 'different'; some products aren't compatible with mobile and look weird or just different on there - messed up scalers, tops appearing nude that aren't supposed to be, particle FX, etc.

I just find it to be a more enjoyable experience all the way around, but I am biased due to joining in 2010. The mobile app just ..isn't good in my eyes, it's a chore to navigate and seems to absolutely cook phones; not well optimized at all. Any modern laptop or PC should be able to run VU Classic without a hitch. It should run IMVU Lite even better since it lacks the spyware bloat of the official client. Hope this helps!

IMVU Lite by Datamine that we offer here under "services" is much better than Classic or Beta. I recommend you check it out.
