I want to know if one buys a room, can they use the poses from it in their other private rooms or not.

No, the poses are tied to the room. Exactly like rooms you can buy on IMVU itself that comes with poses. Ordinarily I would vote for poses, since I prefer flexibility and using my own rooms. But there are currently some issues with poses thanks to IMVU nonsense, so my vote's on rooms right now.

Sort of, but only in the normal "IMVU hates BM stuff" kind of way. They implemented a server-side update that makes it so Mafias BM poses no longer 'save' in your room when you exit or change. i.e. the couch you put down won't be there when you come back, you have to put it back in every time you want to use it. It's annoying, but Don and DM are working on getting it patched. I still think it's a worthy trade-off for using the PRB/Village system - it means you don't have to get stuff past Peer Review like you previously had to and it also means you can click-and-use your BM stuff through the Mafias site instead of having to manually paste the use code. A lot safer as well, since it means you don't have the BM items in your inventory.

So essentially they are targeting the BM products themselves and the Mafias system, not so much the people. They're doing it now because it's major competition to AP+ for them ..soo corporate greed strikes again.

I know Don has been working on something to bridge the gap for people who want the ability to keep their poses saved, but I would much rather stick with the current system and have to 're-deploy' stuff each time I want to use it.

poses every time. its all about control you get what you want where you want it when you want it and not deal with some dev 's milktoast vision of decore...
