It's using Mozilla's Gecko engine. I'm not gonna say exactly which version but lets just say it's over a decade old and doesn't support any web standards released in that time. This includes but isn't limited to, everything in ECMAScript 2015 (classes, arrow functions, const/let keywords) modern css modules like flexbox.

This isn't preventing me from building this feature though, in fact I have it mostly done, just need working on polish atm and researching some other things before I release an update.

@DataMine

cool cool. really looking forward to this update of the classic client -- hallelujah D.M. !!

is gecko used for the talk bubbles too? possible to increase the text size there?

funny how imvu themselves could never be bothered with this... clearly, adding 'Pets' subcategory to classic is sooo much more important lol

I don't know how the bubbles work atm, I need to reverse engineer them but I'm sure I could figure out how to increase their font size

I'm not sure why they abandoned the chat update, I can only assume they thought it wasn't worth the dev time. Honestly, I wouldn't want to work on the client with such an old Gecko version either but here we are.
