, this tutorial is about how to add music to your IMVU homepage and how to set a background without using layouts.
First: You need to know how to add HTML to your homepage. You can learn that in this post: https://www.imvumafias.org/community/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=117
Second: How to set background to your page, there are two ways you can do this. The first one is to upload an image to http://tinypic.com/ (or any other image hosting service), get the code/link of the image and add it to your page, by clicking on edit on the upper-right corner then clicking on page background and enter the link you got in the url section like so:
the second way is to use an image from the web
you have to do the same steps as previous but the way you get the link of the image will be different , you can see it in the following tutorial
Thrid: To get music on your IMVU homepage , you can use http://www.myflashfetish.com/ or any other site which offers music codes. If you chose http://www.myflashfetish.com/ then you should click on Mp3playlist. Then you choose a shape for your player and finally click create music playlist. After that you can search for the music you wanna add ( you can listen to them or add them to your playlist by pressing on " + ")
after you add them you can customize your music player and then you save it and get the code and add it to your page in any panel you like:
