Couldn't you just copy imvu files onto a memory stick or portable drive works for me

The Imvu Client relies on registry settings so even if you copy the files to a thumb drive, it's not truly portable since it will still leave traces of being used. You would have to get the client to write to an ini file on the thumb drive instead of the registry to get it to be truly portable.

Also, it would work like that because you already have Imvu installed on the system but I will try it on a clean system.

That's the program I used to make the other portable clients but they won't run without Imvu installed so they are useless.

I am reading over it too.
I think we might have messed up somewhere while making IMVU portable.
