The following are all tutorials from dA (deviantart.com). The tutorials were made by different people and each one of them has free offered them to the public. If a link doesn't work, let me know.

Great resource! I already have all I need off this, you may want to branch into YouTube videos too because there's at least 2 by Yoru; eye and hair.

I plan on adding anything I can. Trying to really beef up these sections and get them active.

I am, but I'm horrible at teaching, the problem with me is, I can do it but I can't explain it, I haven't got that sort of a brain, I believe I grew too fast and hit my head on too many doorways and ceilings.

I'm use too GIMP, been using it for years, so I refer people to it, and I stick to it because I know the software and I play around with it a bunch, and if you have a dirty mind, stop laughing your ass off at that comment.

That's fine, we have a GIMP section. Maybe just try taking snaps shots of your progress as you make something, that way people can see how things come together and get an idea of how something is made. That's pretty much what I did with my icon tutorial although I put as much detail into the steps because I know there are some people who need the extra help.
