It might be possible to do but I'd have to sit down and think about it for a while.I know with autoIT you can click things on the client but I would need to first figure out how to target individual buttons in the friends mode and then figure out how to determine if the friend has no logged in a certain time period.

The automatic deleting friends part is easy can even be done with a chrome macro problem is determining the inactive part. basicly the script has to delete friends after determining last login date on the friend's profile

I assumed they were looking for an autoIT script that automated the friends mode since they posted in this thread. That is why this would be more difficult.

If they want a script that automates the process on the website than that will be a lot easier.

If anything, I'd do a Greasemonkey Script. The only 2 hurtles I foresee are figuring how to navigate the friends list and dealing with friends who have private/hidden homepages when getting their last login. Actually, scratch that second one, I can simply call the user API and get their last login that way.

That;s all just speculation for now though. I just finished figuring out how to extend a WPF control to add custom dependency properties to it (after 3 days of trial and error + Googling) so now I can get back to work on all the programs I am supposed to me making for our market.

Avatar card API to get around hidden / private homepages. Navigate the list with jquery. A single jquery query will return an array of everyone on the list.

The friends list on the MY IMVU page is paginated, would that still work?

If I remember right, you can increase the number of people per page in the URL.

Sure you're not thinking about the groups member page? I don't know of a specific url for buddies on the website.

I'll do some digging around it tomorrow when I wake up. I still have a few things to iron out with those dependency properties and I know you're waiting on me to finish those programs. That said if everything is as simple as we think, this script shouldn't take long to create.

No need to do it if it is really time consuming or hard, I was just wondering out loud, thought it was maybe a nice idea.

The macro sounds like it could work.

I honestly don't know if it would be hard or not till I try. But one thing I do need to know first is are your okay with userscripts?

I don't know any other way of developing a script someone else can use that also doesn't require me install specialized addons (excluding Greasemonkey because it serves multiple purposes and many people already use it including myself).
