Hello. Been away for a bit due to real-life stuff, but I thought I would share this little quirk I noticed. This is easily defeated by the brilliant room location viewer, but is moreso intended for representing yourself as somewhere else to the vast majority of IMVU users. Someone has probably already figured this out, but IMVU's location it lists for you (if in multiple rooms) is not exactly random. It prioritises the room you first join as the room it displays you in to others, UNLESS a room you join subsequently has a non-zero amount of occupants prior to you entering. However, if you have a non-zero amount of occupants in the room you first join, you will see that room listed as your location, even if you join other rooms after.
You could thus use Sandboxie to join your room on an alternate account or invite someone to your personal room before joining a more populated room that you do not wish to broadcast as occupying, for whatever reason. ^_^ In addition, if the occupant number of your first room becomes 1, it will still persist as your displayed location, even if subsequently-joined rooms have more occupants. There are some quirks, occasionally, but perhaps it could be made automated some day since the check is client-side. I discovered this using up to version 529.0, but I believe it likely to persist in future releases as it does not seem to be a bug of any kind. Take care. :3
