So I am using the "Deliverance Pro Edition Animator" and I want to make an avatar that is holding something like "ball, lollipop, teddy bear... etc" if someone can show me how to make a mesh to add to an avatar that would be really helpful. also going about texturing it.. I seen a derivable smoking avatar and the texture was all split up on 1 image can someone also show me how i could make a texture with 3 different looks fit on just 1 image?

I use SketchUP to make the mesh and then use the imvu file editor plugin to put it on an avatar and export.

Texture mapping in SketchUP is a lot harder. There are plugins and other programs that claim to be able to do it but I haven't been able to get any of them to work properly.

The next best thing is creating separate textures for each side.

If you really want to be able to properly texture map I'd suggest learning 3ds max. That's what I'm considering doing.

If it wasn't for the sever lack of texturing techniques for SketchUP I would be able to produce so many awesome products cause meshing isn't that difficult for me. Its just the texturing that's hard.

Even with my best technique I discovered you still sometimes end up with shitty quality, albeit way better that what you normally get.

but how can i make a uvmap like this https://gyazo.com/27b909e93c3795423875322d56c33060 to my avatar how there is 3 different images into one texture this is the avatar i seen with it http://www.imvu.com/shop/product.php?pr ... d=34125835

Cannot be done in Deliverance, that only deals with poses. Putting all into one UV Map is done in Max. You have to be the original mesher to do this. It is acheived using the unwrap UVW modifier. Then selecting the elements and then select arrange pack elements. The program then arranges the pieces for you to fit in the space.

..since you only want handheld object attached to your avatar like balls etc...sketchup might be your answer. After you have downloaded all the files and things you need to start with sketchup...look at this video tutorial....it is very easy to start with...hope this helps. :kat_emoji2:
