Salut! As many of you know, in some recent operating systems with regards to instant messaging applications, there is a trend to alert the user with a steady yellow/orange strobe, and often a sound if a new message is received. Many applications responsibly allow this to be disabled due to how distracting it can be when one is multitasking. Enter IMVU, which of course does not have such a feature, at least in new Windows versions. After sloughing through a myriad of ineffectual registry tweaks, h@c4s, etc., I finally found a working solution for those of us who enjoy creating while we use the client and maybe could go a few minutes of uninterrupted concentration. This especially comes in useful if parking in a busy room where lots of people are talking.
Also, what a great way to introduce TIM to the wonderful people at Eusing! The tool I use, provided by them, is the free, modestly-named Taskbar Hide, found here:
http://eusing.com/Download/THSetup.exe
Be sure to check their other free software as it really does help with some basic utilitarian tasks necessary for computer maintenance, one of which I just discovered while writing this missive! It is called Internet Window Washer and the page can be found here:

Enjoy!
