I currently have no idea how the FBX tool works. I will need to do some research to figure out how/if IMVU stores the FBX file on the server.

FBX is another file extension used by many 3d software...It just incl additional info to the OBJ. Such as the animation, morph, bones. If imvu is now accepting and able to interpret fbx versus the broken out xmf, xaf, xsf, etc. Would think that info can be pulled in reverse.

I'm sure it will be but I'll have to research how IMVU works with these files so I can learn how to access them and reliably retrieve them. At this moment in time I haven't even tried the update so I don't even know how the FBXs file work yet.

Edit:

Just to clarify, All I'm saying is I will need to do some research before I can make an FBX ripper and I will get around to it eventually after more important things are complete.

which other extension can be imported imvu ? such as .obj etc

is there any way to extract chkn and assets from hidden products ?
