Credit limits

I have been able to send 100k per day for awhile on imvu, They recently limited my account to 10k per day, and another is at 15k per day. I was wondering how the limits work? How do you get the limits raised? Does sending credits daily raise the limits faster, or does it just go up over time. If there is anyone with any advice on this topic please let me know.

It's tied to tier level / creating, but the exact formula is unknown. I've seen several people claiming tier6+ = 300k/day, but that hasn't been my personal experience. Sending frequently doesn't seem to have any effect. Asking CS about it / for your limit to be raised won't get you anywhere either.

Sending credits has nothing to do with the creating part of IM. The limit was set for all at 10k per day for everyone creator or not. This is a security measure for them to be able to monitor who is still selling credits/ to detur people from selling credits. Athough it is fustrating to most we simply hav e to accept it. The only one that sends more then 10k of credits anymore is when you buy credits from IMVU.

I don't mean to be rude, but this is simply untrue. Your sending limit is absolutely, undeniably tied to being a creator.

@Esbeth
every creator level you go through when you create products in imvu and have a shop increases your transfer limits. I'm currently level 4 on my main dev account and i can send about 85k in one single transfer.

They are reducing the credit limit even more now. Here is the link to the announcement by ShannonMac for the new inplaced limit :

Or lemme just copy and paste it here for you to read:

Announcement: Reduced Credit Transfer Limits
@ShannonMac Moderator VIP Staff Jan 16, 2018

Our current credit transfer limits were put in place at a time when Content Creators needed the ability to transfer large sums of credits to our authorized resellers.

Now that these resellers no longer exist, we are reducing the Tier-based limits.

Transfer limits are based on a variety of factors, not just tier level, and all accounts have a limit in place. These limits protect your account if it is ever taken over by a scammer, otherwise, some could stand to lose millions of credits.

If you need to transfer credits beyond your transfer limits, you can continue to reach out to Customer Support to request a manual transfer by clicking Contact Us at the top of this page. VIP members can also chat with us live during regular business hours.

Thank you.
