Ms_V wrote:@Pixl I'm loving your art! Especially your anime style is super cuteI'll be back soon with an order!p.s. Your mom is a hero! I'm still editing with my laptop and gimp so yes a laggy laptop can be a pain in the butt @DexterShaggy I don't think you lack the skills, your tools probably discouraged you! Thanks a lot for the encouragement ^~^

I know the feels of using mouse by hand. it takes forever. But i've seen some badass mouse art. Look on Devianart and you can see alot of it. From imvu repaints to anime. Line art is the easiest if you are using mouse hand. Less strain on your mind and wrists.
I used to have a laggy old laptop. Sorta using a windows 7 Craptop that overheats and is literally burning from the inside out.

It's hard starting out. But I'm always here for my fellow artists. I can even try and make you some tuts and even do live tuts. It's nice to know someone is there for you and to be helped ease some frustration.

That's fantastic! We all have to start from somewhere and your doing great. Anatomy is very difficult and your doing a great job! Keep practicing. It took me about 4 years to get good with drawing digitally since I was a traditional artist.

It took me since i was 13 to learn to do half the things I see now, even then I'm still furious with myself. I used to get so frustrated.
Thank you for your words of encouragement. I've seen some of you're art and it's beautiful and means alot coming from someone with such skills. It means alot coming from anyone in all honesty.

Absolutely. I know it means something to me when I get words of encouragement from a better artist than myself and you understand what that it takes and the time spent to get to where you are now. It never feels like your getting anywhere in your current state but when you look back it can amaze you at how far along you've come. I have been drawing since I was 7 and kept at it and I've finally looked back on some of my things and realize that this is what I always dreamed to become. Remember there are going to be people who don't like your art and there are gonna be much more that do.
I don't mind when people say "I wish I could be a talented as you." which I get is a compliment but everyone can be just as talented or more if they gave that talent the time of day. And I hate it when people are like "I don't have the time." and I'm like I had a job and family to keep up with and either I would draw on my lunch break to make sure that I kept up with my drawing skills or at home while watching tv with my family.
You never get talented at something without practice. I never went to art school and taught myself the things I know through trial and error and some techniques through other artists advice or simply watching youtube videos. I used to suck at digitally drawing hair until I watched a youtube video and now I'm pretty good at it.
Art is a time consumer as well as bodybuilding. Keep up the great work! :3
