Wanting to learn vector art. From what i understand there is no distortion or loss in quality when resizing. Probably alot more perks i'm not aware of.

Is there another alternative program that is free to use equivalent to AI? Like Gimp is to PS?

I personally use Xara Designer Pro after upgrading my freeware version of Xara Xtreme. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a free version of Xara Xtreme anymore but you might be better at searching.

I also have and have used Inkscape which a lot of people say is the best alternative to AI out there. Don't take my word for it, you can check these two sites for their reviews.

Hope this helps :)

Vector artwork is definitely a good thing to learn. Vector images are made up of mathematical algorithms rather than pixels so you're right, there is no loss of quality when resizing.

I personally use Adobe Illustrator but check out these links for some information on free alternatives:

The top answers mention inkskape, gimp (didn't know it did vector artwork), https://gravit.io/ and Scribus. I've never used any of those aside from GIMP so I can't make any recommendations.

I have excellent drawings with Adobe Illustrator, but I can not.
Please help me with this.
Please share the training kit if you have it.
