This is part 2 of my BBCode series where I give you an overview of the different BBCodes available to our community and how to use them.

Before reading part 2, I highly suggest reading part 1 of my BBCode series Introduction to BBCode - Basic Text Formatting where I go over what BBCode is and show you some basic examples like Bold, Italics and Underline.

Here in part 2 I will be teaching you how to add even fancier effects to your text with more advanced BBCodes such as color, font sizing and urls.

Color
To change the color of your words you can use the following tags in your message:
Code
[color=#COLOR CODE]EXAMPLE TEXT[/color]

In the code above replace COLOR CODE with a hex color value. If you're not familiar with hex color codes check out this handy website: Color-hex.com. Don't worry if you can't remember them though, our site has a handy button above the message area called "font color" that lets you pick a color to use. Next replace EXAMPLE TEXT with the words you want to color. When you post your message, you word or words will be colored.

Example: This text is red

Font Size
To make your words bigger or smaller you can use the following tags in your message:

(Note: Tiny and small text have been disabled due to abuse)

Tiny
Code
[size=50]EXAMPLE TEXT[/size]

Small
Code
[size=85]EXAMPLE TEXT[/size]

Normal
Code
[size=100]EXAMPLE TEXT[/size]

Large
Code
[size=150]EXAMPLE TEXT[/size]

Huge
Code
[size=200]EXAMPLE TEXT[/size]

Examples:

Normal Text
Large Text
Huge Text

Urls
To add a clickable link to your message, use the following tags in your message:

Code
[url]WEBSITE URL[/url]

In the code above, replace WEBSITE URL with the address to the website you want to link to in your message.

Example: http://www.google.com

If you want to give the link a name use the following tags in your message:
Code
[url=WEBSITE URL]LINK DISPLAY NAME[/url]

In the code above, replace WEBSITE URL with the address to the website you want to link to and LINK DISPLAY NAME with what you want the clickable link to say in your message.

Example: This is a link to Google

Quotes
Wrap text in a quote box using the quote bbcode
Code
[quote]TEXT[/quote]

In the code above, replace TEXT with text you want to quote.

Example:
I am a quote

To display a quote from a user, add their name to the quote tags like so:
Code
[quote="USERNAME"]TEXT[/quote]

In the code above, replace USERNAME with the profile name of the Mafia user you want to quote and replace TEXT with text you want to quote.

Example:
