Hi! Luckily it seems many credit sellers on this site are very creditable. I recently have bought credits from @cysia and @Heralds and I would highly recommend them both. I can't speak from personal experience about other sellers, but you're in the right place. I'd say anyone with a Family Member tag on their profile is without a doubt creditable.

With Heralds you could buy 300k for 64$. His prices are limited it seems although so I would hurry lol. It's probably the cheapest I've seen, and I can vouch for him. Sticker method is basically you creating a sticker and selling it for however much you bought from the person. It's very easy and any seller can talk you through it, so if you have VIP you're good! They can usually provide everything you need to create the sticker, the only downside is it take a while for the credits to reach you account, 12-14 days to be exact. But it's the easiest way to transfer a lot of credits at the moment due to IMVU limiting how much people can transfer instantly.
