Unexpected visitor in my room

So just recently when i invited a friend to my private room one of their friends joined without me inviting them or even having them added as friends, this may be the dumbest post ever because maybe everyone but me knew about this...but i'm kinda shocked that all those times i was doing my thing there anyone could have joined at any moment.
Is there a way to prevent this?

Not that I know of. If you have a public room set to private, anyone can still join it if they have the room ID, which they can get from saving it after a previous visit or off of someone's location.

No clue, I have never owned a joint room before. Do they have room ID's ?

It may be possible your friend have invited his/her friend into the chat room. And sometime room location shows the location of the room.

Not possible to come alone maybe some one else invite and didn't want to tell you

private public rooms work like this the folks other then you can not see it or even find or know about it except if you let them even them they can only get in to it. if you give the URL for the room its like the key to the green door kinda deal. sometime and only sometime a person have there location on then someone mite be able to get in thru the location but thats rare . be safe and well every one.

Except you can get the link to a room, without the owner giving the link to you. All you need is the room ID. There are tools out there for getting those ID's.

So... I've had a public room set to private... but people on mobile can still see what room your in even if its set to private. the only way to prevent that from happen is to have your room location hidden.
