Well found this on ebay, Ad for the sale of Windows 10 https://www.ebay.com/itm/Microsoft-Windows-10-Pro-Professional-Key-Genuine-Licence-7s-instant-Delivery/202848641186 just wondering how legit is it? Seller has great reviews but there is a saying, when it is too good to be true is because it is exactly that too good to be true. Does anyone have any idea how they can do this at such a low price and put my mind at ease :tlaponder:

Yeah, updating from 7 to 10 is free.

Download the windows update tool straight from microsoft; it is free: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/softwar ... /windows10

I just updated a Windows 8 computer at the gym where I work out, from 8 to 10 ... and it was free. No activation codes needed.

Make sure your computer hardware support it as some old processor won't be able to install due to comparability issues.

You should follow the above mentioned link, they have all the information you need in a step by step process.

I thought microsoft turned off the free upgrade some days ago?
Or it was just the lifetime of windows 7 that came to a deadline?

Microsoft never turns off the free upgrade. They always set an "official" artificial end date for the free upgrades, but they never actually go through with it. The end date for free Windows 10 update ended years ago, but Microsoft never turned it off. They just stopped advertising it.

I see. I see they said that there was a deadline for the free upgrade to push as many people towards windows 10 as possible.

Microsoft finally not being greedy as hell, they made it free to update.
