I think if the other person has VIP, then you can whisper to them, even if you do not have VIP.

Yes, that is correct. A non-VIP and VIP can whisper.

you can whisper someone who have vip even u dont have vip, its mean, one of them should have vip,
else theres some old stuffs at shop which has own chat box, can be used as "whispering" too.

I remember the time when whispering just came out. There was a mod to install on imvu so you could whisper without VIP, and if both didn't have VIP, the other had to mod the client as well to answer. Fun times.

Yes I seen products that allowed a chat box and you can chat privately with some with out vip

Yeah, forgot about that. But it's not very private, since people can see you and the other person walking to the spots.

^above is product link you can purchase and set it up in your room. There are other types such as strip chairs for private sex chatting. Also I use this to do some credits sales in IMVU. I think it keeps you safe and not let anybody flag you. Its not as easy as using VIP whisper but if you need it very urgently this is a perfect substitute way for it.
