Try deriving from the male avatar. Save the derive as a chkn. Then run the software on it. See what happens. Report results in this thread.

hey! i did what you said on the male avatar that i wanted. however, there was no change. but, i also tested it on a female avatar that had no accessories and it looked as if it tried to work. it glitched from male to female when loading for a couple seconds but nonetheless failed to change completely. if possible could a program be made for avatars?

This program was mainly made for accessories and anyskin products. All it does, is toggle the compatible body ID between male / female and change any skin inheritance xrf's between male / female. It won't work on a product that is derived from a non-gender neutral product; such as an avatar or clothing. I'm pretty sure the client makes avatars and clothing inherit the compatible body ID from the parent product's category. You could try changing the parent ID inside of the index.xml file from 80 to 191, or from 191 to 80. That might cause the change you are looking for.

Does this gender swapper account for some slight size diffences between male & female avatars because some meshes arent compatible with both? Or does this just strickly gender change bc ive changed some accessories for use w opposite sex but product remains in the original sex catagory. Will test out.

Changing the gender of an IMVU product is not against IMVU's TOS. They won't ban you for it.
Also, this software does not change the size, but you can normally make up for that by either manually changing the attachment node or manually tweaking the xsf skeleton file if it has one.

Wow! I was looking for something like that, that i can change the gender thing for one or sumn itmes... Cause i'm too poor to buy "once again" all the products for new avi but w opposite gender, hehe. I hope it'll help me!!! <3
