its not going to be on imvu until january next year, but its a way to convert virtual currency and exchange it into real cash, you don’t need vip for it either however, it will take a lot of vcoins to make some actual money since there’s always a catch.

I see it to be useless really since imvu will be selling the credits as well as VCOIN. Most of the people will continue to buy credits to do the shopping VCOIN has been targeted towards the people who provide services on imvu like Edits, Repaints, Hosting, Custom products any other services like that, yes I did not include modeling because it is done for free for the most part & even for the people who like to keep the models motivated they just send a random gift & that will be good enough.

For the people successfully doing business on imvu charge in cash & paypal is the preferred method and is instant. Imvu expects people to buy VCOIN specifically to pay the service industry on imvu that was happy to be paid in gifts otherwise people buy credits as a gift which again is instant. Now imvu wants to portray it as Linden Dollar to make it attractive while they still have credits. If there is a creator earning in credits & paying to a bunch of people for modeling. Why would that creator want to pay extra money to buy VCOIN. You have to keep in mind that once you receive VCOIN they will need to mature in your wallet for 30 days before you can request a payout & then you pay a 10% - 15% processing fee while VCOIN has the same cash value as credits & you will still pay the same amount of income tax and transaction fee.

It is still too early to say how valuable VCOIN can be in the future but so far I don't find it promising enough.

At least, that's what it sounds like based on the "earn as your play" description. It will give a way for IMVU users to easily earn money for buying credits / IMVU products, while at the same time transferable outside of the sphere of IMVU. I'm all for that.

On top of that, how the fuck is IMVU staff going to police a block chain? Block chain analytics and knowing your customer? Give me a break.
