Get the URL to the product, example:
https://www.imvu.com/shop/product.php?products_id=52915200
Grab the PID from the end of of the URL, example:
Add the PID to the end of this URL:
https://www.imvu.com/shop/derivation_tree.php?products_id=
Example:
https://www.imvu.com/shop/derivation_tree.php?products_id=52915200
That will give you the derive tree of the product.
Products in the derive tree are often the exact same product and are often still for sale.
If none of the products in the derive chain are for sale, then grab the URL of each and every product in the derive chain.
The grab the PID's from the end of the derive chain.
Add the PID's to the end of this URL:
https://www.imvu.com/shop/web_search.php?derived_from=That will give you a list of products derived from products within the derive tree.
Products forked off of products within the same derive tree, are often the exact same product.
If none of that works, there are tools you can use to trace through hidden products within the derive tree. Tools such as T3DE, MPR, and the Derive Chain Recoverer.
