If you only have the option to create from your phone, I found Autodesk Shetchbook one of the best free apps to do so, should act the way you want it to.
And if possible and you haven't done it yet, buy a tablet with pen pressure that connects to the phone, like the wacom Intuos pro(there are cheaper alternatives).
Unfortunately procreate only has the ipad version, not working on the iphone.
For Android devices there are a few compatible stylus pens but I'm not sure how the pen pressure actually works on there, as well as the drawing surface is rather reduced on a phone.
