It depends on the what the seller is willing to accept but yes, you can. Don accepts medits for a few sex products.

I have 5000 medits... how many $ is that worth? and only some products accept medits or do all?

By default, only sex products accept medits at a 500M : $1 ratio. Any other type of product, you have to ask the seller.
