Hello every!

I'm new here and go by the name Donace in IMVU.

January 2020, I retired from the Army after 6 years of service. My job in the army was as a communications chief. I was responsible for planning, setting up, and maintaining all of the radio, wire, and automation for the unit. I have been working on computers, networks, and servers since I was 14 years. My first few jobs after the Army were a system administrator job for Healthcare.gov 4, a backup engineer position for the US Air Force, and most recently a senior training specialist for the US Army. We recently moved to Middleton, ID where I am working as a systems analyst which involves modifying and writing SQL scripts for various SQL DB servers as well as other Sys Admin functions.

I learned HTML back when it was still at version 4 and have dabbled in it throughout the years since. Along the way, I installed/configured various flavors of Linux and learned bash/git. Although I have a tech background, it wasn’t until this year that I got serious about transitioning over full-time to front-end/full-stack web dev.

So I found out about IMVU Mafias through an in-game friend that took me to her sex room. Being amazed at all things I didn't know about IMVU and what you can actually do I was pretty surprised. She told me about this website and all the cool things you can buy and get from here.

I love fishing.

Living in Stockholm, we don't get many seals, and we only have a tiny two person tin can with a trolling motor that cost a hundred bucks, plus a marine battery and garage sale charger.

You can either hike to small ponds, or go to a decent sized lake so long as the water is calm.

A decent rod and reel with some basic tackle can cost you anywhere from $40 to $100 (a 'good' set can be much more). I've had days where I caught just as many bass or walleye or pearch etc. with a Canadian Tire rod set as my friends fishing tournament rigs. Oh, and it's always a good idea to have life jackets and some good rope (boondock saints explains the reason for rope).

We see beautiful scenery, lots of nature, beavers, otters, deer, this one time there was boobs, birds of prey fishing as well, and hopefully some fish!

You have the fun of hunting after something, surveying the land and using you're knowledge and skills to find the best approach to try and land a fish. We always throw back unless the fish gets injured, so we and others may catch them again.

Fishing can be an amazing experience when done alone, but I have always preferred to go with at least one other person.

We bring our coal or propane barbecue, something to grill, and a couple beers.

Who would have thought being cramped on a small, unstable surface, a good distance from land, with another person to rock shit around, being surrounded by several non floating posessions, as you dodge rocks, trees, shallows and seaweed would be the most relaxing thing I have ever done.

Anyway this is me!

Thank you guys!

@Reemy

Yeah I do need help with something :please:

How big of a computer geek I am, I couldn't figure out how to use the triggers , import textures to your IMVU room and etc...
So how do I do it?

@aron127

Textures are added under the materials tab in create mode.

Read our XRF tutorial: viewtopic.php?f=157&t=9115

If you know HTML, then you'll do fine. IMVU products use the XML CAL3D schema. The code looks very similar to HTML.

Thank you Don #2, yes I'm proficient, so it should take an hour or two to learn XML CAL3D.

I just use Paintshop Pro when I created in IMV but I think there trying to do away with all the outside programs and just use their own creator program for imv soon. If they do then for sure I wont mess with creating because I didn't like there program. But for more advance creators they will have no problems using IMV's.
