I see there players online dropping like flies every yr. Why don't IMVU listen to the people and wake the hell up? Someone else will make another site like imvu was and IMVU will go down. Thats how it always works. So sad when you invest so much into a site lol I could kick myself now. haha

kinda figured that it's gonna be a mobile thing since it seems like that's what where they want us to go to but everyone knows that classic pc client is the way to go! even if the new system is here to stay i just hope that they dont shut down the classic client...im not sure how many people still use classic client but it seems like that's where most people are....either classic client or the mobile app. the mobile app is only good for posting status, memes and messaging tbh... i swear to god that if this is what kills imvu then omfg.....*sighs* good thing i bought 1 year of the current vip but sadly it seems like we will be forced to pick a tier once the current one expires

also not to mention that this is the WORST time to release something like this! we're still in a pandemic and it's near the holidays! i doubt many people will be willing to pay $20 a MONTH for diamond vip idk when but it seems like they might be getting rid of the current vip unless something else happens? i doubt that they will reconsider no matter how many people complain the new vip tiers are trash

This. I would be surprise if they would let the VIP legacy subscribers have the 10 rooms indefinitely. this will probably just a temporary measure until they figure the whole tier list out.I just don't understand why they would do that in the first place and they could fix it easily just by giving 15 rooms to the diamond membership and let the platinum sstay with the 10 rooms.

that's if they even keep the current vip....luckily they haven't removed it yet but with the whole tier thing it kinda sounds like they will be removing it cuz of the new tiers....even tho it seems to be a mobile/vu next thing still...i much rather pay $75 a year instead of $20 a month :/ one user who im kinda chatting with in the comments from the instagram post announcing it spoke with 4 agents on live chat and they pretty much all said the same thing....once ur current subscription expires u will be forced to pick a tier smh...this is the WORST time to release something like this when we're still in a pandemic and it's near the holiday season! yes i know that most of the players are adults with their own money but not everyone can pay $20 a month for diamond vip...and its like $240 a year!!! comparing that to current one year vip omg...current vip for a year is $75 isn't so bad! but im assuming for those who have turned on auto renewals for yearly vip im guessing they will also to pick a tier when their renewal date comes...

Keep in mind the new system is different from the old VIP system. Sure the ones can do a roll over as long as they don't let there account elapse before paying for the next month or yr. But they will stop it and force everyone to get with the new system sooner or later. Keep in mind no mater what VIP pack you get you can also buy more rooms I'm sure. Its all about money now isn't it?

Totally agree with Reemy here. Since I got banned on imvu I moved to Second Life as well as all my friends followed me (and some of them were big customers on imvu). Imvu get money hungry more and more overtime but in reality they loose more customers that anything else. It's kinda paradoxal here.

VIP Tiers isn't worth it in general, it's just a money grab to capitalize off the voice chat feature that Second Life and discord can do for free. Unfortunately my account that had legacy VIP for more than 2 years was banned and now I'm stuck with the updated tiers. I still don't see the option to check how long my VIP is active for.

So sorry to hear that your legacy account was banned….no way to get it back? Really sorry. I heard a lot of people getting banned for some reasons….are they sweeping the site again? Stay safe everyone

Just adding my 2 cents here. As some of you may remember (cause I was always posting when the option was available ) I have always bought VIP for Soulljah using the Walmart gift card option. $50 gift card gets you 1 year of classic VIP. This March, my VIP was up for renewal so I got my Walmart card and went for it on March 31st. On April 1st, IMVU tells me I should rejoin VIP and of course I was very confused so I sent them an email (no VIP, no support chat :/ ). They answered within an hour (shock) apologized profusely (double shock) and promised to fix it immediately and they did - kinda. About 10 minutes later I got the "Welcome to VIP" message. Then reality came crashing back in. My $50 Walmart gift card was now worth 3 months of Gold Tier VIP!?! I immediately went to VIP chat with support. Answers: No reverting to classic VIP, the 7400 credits/months I was getting as classic VIP went back down to 5000 and no, there was no way to get classic VIP anymore. I'm just so fed up with the site I didn't even comment or continue to discuss it; left chat with a "Thanks for nothing." Suffice it to say they can kiss my butt with their new VIP program. F'em!

yeah sadly there's no way of getting classic vip unless ur still on it and just let it run out...im currently still on classic vip since i bought 1 year of it back in Sept. 2021 so im letting it run all the way through...hopefully they release year subscriptions by the time my vip runs out but im guessing it's gonna be in Nov. since that's when the tiers came out...honestly if u dont care about the voice chat and live rooms platinum vip is the way to go since that's the closest thing to classic vip.
