Hey guys I got this in my imvu inbox today:

"Hi Creators, We wanted to keep you posted about an exciting new opportunity we're working on for Creators and our entire IMVU community.

Later this year, we'll be integrating NFTs into the IMVU Shop. To start we will create and sell a range of IMVU NFTs. After that we will integrate NFT creation directly into IMVU Studio tools so all Creators can have the option to make and sell NFTs in the Shop. Regular IMVU items will of course continue to be promoted and celebrated in the IMVU catalog. Creators can choose to make regular IMVU products, NFTs or both."

Was wondering what your thoughts of about it

I think they're going to have huge issues with people making and buying UFI NFT's. Some of those things sell for shit tons of money, and IMVU inc is going to have a hard time justifying burning UFI NFT's in front of a court after some rich douche with lawyers spends 20 grand on a pic of pixel dicks smoking meth.

No matter what type of review they place on NFS's ... NFT supports GIF animation, which supports delayed frames, which means all you have to do is place the adult content in the NFT on a delay ... it will pass review, get sold, and then what? IMVU's gonna burn it and all the money it represents?

no no no no no no no!!!!! NFT's are fucking terrible! not only are they usually really ugly *cough* bored ape *cough* with the few handful i've seen that are actually good looking but i digress they're very bad for the environment! plus A TON of artists have gotten their art stolen and being used for NFT's. i'll never fully understand crypto stuff but yeah....im very against the idea of NFT's.

What a horrible decision on imvus part but it doesnt surprise me since theyre always looking for ways to make more money, first the host passes, new vip and now nfts.

Yeah most of the comments im reading on the community forums that the post was made on are all negative towards this whole idea, but your right im sure imvu is just gonna ignore them and still go through with it. They to be honest don't care about the majority opinion only what gives them profit.

With how recession has came, the market getting rekt, people realising how NFTS are not good anymore, this had to be the worst idea imvu could come up with towards creators and you could sense the greed with this idea they thought of.
