Hello, can anyone here help me with a blocked ip problem?
My notebook is blocked in the Meredian 3dx game, both on the internet at home and on the internet at work, however if I use the desktop I can access it normally, the problem is only with the notebook.
Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

If I posted in the wrong place, feel free to delete it.

That sounds like a hardware block, not an IP block. What makes you think it's your IP?

If the block was on your IP, then your desktop would not work either.

Try updating your MAC address: viewtopic.php?f=29&t=7971&p=115151&hilit=change+mac+address

Thank you very much for always helping me, I confess that I am very new to the subject, so there is one more doubt.
Doing this procedure from the post you indicated, do I run any risk of making my notebook unusable?

Not that I know of. I use the same software on my own machines.

I did the procedure using the program, unfortunately it didn't work, it doesn't change the wifi, I'll leave it like that and upgrade my desktop, I'll save the program to use on the PC.

it looks like Meredian 3dx requires that you white-list your ip address by visiting their discord channel and making a request.

you may have already done this, but i thought to mention it just in case.

as Don says, if your desktop and laptop are using the same ip, then a single white-listing should work for both and the problem is probably something else.

there is another game I find it better than meredian on many things and it is the same as the game 3dxchat the game is called Match3D games it does not ask you to add your ip address to the whitelist ... you can connect directly in the game

It's possible they could be using some sort of machine specific tracking. Could be a tracking cookie. (browser, flash, or java) Could be a tracker in your appdata. Could be an entry in your registry.

I could help you check via screen share sometime. I'm not sure there are any tools that would do it for you. Maybe CC Cleaner might catch a few ...
