Yeah, that's how I imagine playing while using VR: make the most of movement possibilities, not just stand there like a dummy with headset on and move one arm when you e.g. use an axe. I'd like to crouch when sneaking, use both arms when hitting and blocking with shield or dual cast some nasty fire magic on enemies etc.
From what I've seen Skyrim VR is no different to other game versions: it needs to be modded cause anything vanilla is too dumb to use in the long run. And PC version is best for it, people make lots of mods, for VR too. And there's lots of modding tools to keep the game stable. And yes, all of this needs proper hardware power: last time I bought a gaming laptop it was with Skyrim SE in mind.
